attractive atmosphere. Freiburg’s famous cathedral, the Münster,
is known for “the most beautiful spire in Christendom”. Little
streams still run through the streets of the Old Town, whose
pavements are decorated with pretty mosaics made of Rhine
pebbles. Freiburg is starting point for excursions to the
Vogesen Mountains, to the Alps,to the Lake of Constance, Colmar,
Basel and Mulhouse with their attractions.
