all the way to Hungary. After the great fire of 1662 the prince
bishops rebuilt the town in the Baroque style. One of the
highlights of the Old Town is the beautiful Cathedral of St
Stephan, which boasts the biggest church organ in the world.
Today the Danube only plays a crucial role in the European
inland waterway transpotation. Beside the "three-rivers" -
city tour there are 2-daytrips offered to Vienna as well as
interesting cruises which lead to the cities and landscapes of
the Danube countries across Vienna and Budapest up to the
black sea.
