When in August sailing
ships from all over the world meet in
the old harbour, everyone
gets a maritime feeling. Skippers,
sailors and thousands of
guests come to the Hanse Sail -
the greatest gathering of
traditional sailing ships. The historical
town consists of
distinctive Gothik churches built in red brick and
buildings of
the Hanse era. Warnemünde - near Rostock - is one
of the most
beautiful seaside resorts of the Baltic Sea
and an important
landing-stage for cruises and ferries.
